Obscured by Fuzz 12" Vinyl LP This album is available on vinyl only. It contains 14 tracks of fuzzed-up garage rock and dylanesque ballads. Dan has been compared to everyome from Syd Barret to the Country Teasers.... but forget the comparisons, Dan is his own man, and this album is definitely one of his best! Dan first came to the public eye as part of the Billy Childish/Holly Golightly garage sound of the late nineties. He recorded with both of these artists and had a solo single on Billy's 'Hangman Records.' After that he flew off to the USA where he has lived ever since, producing countless records with every cool label in the states (and Europe!). His first band Dan Melchiors Broke Revue were a huge criticall success and released some astounding albums on 'In the Red.' Over the past few years Dan has recorded under the name of Dan Melchior und das Menace producing what has arguably been his finest work.
