The first track on the debut album by the NoMen was a psychedelic epic with lyrics by Steve Treatment and music by the NoMen. While recording this track the NoMen swamped it with recordings of bubbling water, sitar samples, percussive effects, backing vocals and chants. To cap it all each NoMan added an over-the-top guitar solo [some backwards and some forwards]... it was all too much for a four minute song! The final mix of the album track was relatively simple but another version was cut using everything in the mix! This version ended up at 16 minutes long so it never made it beyong a few CDRs for the NoMen and Steve Treatment. This is the first time this monster has been allowed out in public! (though it has been divided into 3 parts to keep the file size down!)
