Shortly after completing their first album of versions of songs by Steve Treatment, the NoMen decided to collaborate on a proper CD with Steve singing and the NoMen as the backing band. 'Carve My Name' seemed like a good choice and Steve recorded a variety of vocals over the NoMen's track - 3 of them appear on this collection - track 1 the normal version, track 2 a version which Steve sang onto our answering machine and we overdubbed it onto the track and track 3 Steve's psychotic drunken version (his personal favourite!)
The other tracks were acoustic versions of old and new songs thay Steve sent us at the time some of which the NoMen overdubbed guitar and bass etc. 'Lord Arse' is the NoMen's backing to 'Lord as a Weapon' with the Casio cheapo keyboard supplying the corny effects. There are also two of Steves previous recordings of 'Carve' from 1979 and 1998.

This was released online in 2003 on a Black Vinyl CD and, much to our surprise, actually sold a few copies!!
